Caribo is an excellent example of the draft type Fjord Horse.  At a Fjord Horse evaluation, Caribo achieved a blue ribbon in his conformation test, a red ribbon in introductory riding test, and blue ribbons in introductory driving and draft tests.  This qualified Caribo for a first level Silver medallion.  The highest level for the introductory tests.

CARIBO is 14.3 hands high and about 1175 pounds.  He has 8-3/4 inch cannons.

CARIBO drives, pulls and rides very well.  Besides Fjord shows, he has shown at pleasure driving shows, arena driving trials, dressage shows, and draft horse shows.  He was the Versitility Champion at the Northeast Fjord Horse Association (NFHA) Fjord Horse Show in Woodstock, Vermont, for three years: 2000 - 2002.

Currently, CARIBO is being leased by Lee Heuer and can be seen at Morven Park Equestrian Center.
