Stjörnudís fra Sólheimum (aka DIS) was purchased from Kelly Pierce (no relationship to Curt) in March 2005.  Kelly purchased DIS in Iceland and had her bred prior to transporting her to the US.  DIS has one other foal in the U.S., a pinto colored colt born in 2002.

In 2005, DIS performed in two expo night shows at the Pennsylvania Horse World Expo in Harrisburg, PA, and the Virginia Equine Extravaganza in Richmond, VA.

In 2006, Marsha showed Dis in the Nokesville Horse Society (NHS) gaited shows.  They were the Reserve Champions for the 4 show series.

Dis gave birth to Galen, a buckskin colt, on May 12.  His sire is Fjalar fra Gunnlaugsstöðum.  Fjalar has a buckskin coat color, so it looks like he has the same color.  We saw him tolt the very first day, so, he may be a very good mover.
